Trial version of SUSALPS decision support system online

Today we launched the trial version of the SUSALPS decision support system. The system is free of charge and available online at dss.susalps.de/demo. The system can be used on desctop computers and mobile devices.

The SUSALPS decision support system embeds the biogeochemical LandscapeDNDC model into a user friendly and application oriented simulation framework. Main target is to provide end-users and in particular farmers and agricultural advisors with an easy to handle tool to optimize their grassland management: optimizing yields while minimizing environmental impacts such as greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and nitrate leaching by adjustment timing and frequency/ ammount of fertilization and cutting events.

We are happy to present the system to an international expert audiance at the BONARES Conference 2018 (26.-28.02.2018) in Berlin.
