Mission grassland soils: Last internal SUSALPS meeting in Munich

After 9 exciting and great years, the last internal meeting of the SUSALPS project took place on October 21, 2024 at Treffpunkt Philosophie in Munich. Especially in phase III (from 2022 onwards), data from field and laboratory experiments, remote sensing methods as well as socio-economic and ecosystem modeling could be combined to gain important insights for an evidence- and process-based understanding of the effects of current and future climate and management conditions on grassland soil functions.

After presentations and discussions of the most important results of the individual project partners in the morning, the focus in the afternoon was mainly on the discussion of the success status of the project milestones and the discussion and distribution of the remaining tasks. Finally, a short workshop on data transfer to the BonaRes repository took place.
