Grassland in focus: discussion evening with trainee climate educators

Within the KlimaAlps project (https://www.klimaalps.eu/) in the module Agriculture on 03 June 2023 at Ammertaler Hof, 17 participants from Bavaria and Austria were able to present their results of research on climate change in grassland under the guidance of Garnet Wachsmann. This was followed by a discussion and Q&A session with experts from research (David Piatka and Elisabeth Ramm, Campus Alpin, KIT) and practice (Roman Bertl from Jaggala-Hof; Wolfgang Sappl from Bauer & Spaten). The possible effects of climate change on soil health and biodiversity in grassland and appropriate management measures were critically discussed.
