Announcement: Excursion to the Brunnenkopfalm

A grazing experiment is planned within SUSALPS on the Brunnenkopfalm that analyses the effects of grazing on an abandoned mountain pasture on soil functions, biodiversity, and feed value. The experiment aims to derive recommendations for a successful and sustainable re-vitalization of abandoned mountain pastures.

The Bavarian Botanical Society will conduct a two-day excursion from 16 - 17/06/2018 to the Brunnenkopfalm to survey the floral species composition of the abandoned mountain pasture at the beginning of the grazing experiment.
